North London Strategic Alliance

The North London Strategic Alliance (NLSA) is the sub-regional strategic partnership for North London bringing together public, private and voluntary organisations working in Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest.

The NLSA share a common interest in working for a vibrant and successful North London that plays a full role in shaping London's future and aim to:

Raise the profile of North London and increase public and private sector investment in the sub-region
Influence key decision makers in the sub-region and across London
Work together to benefit North London and London as a whole

Their action is based around four core themes that cut across all of the objectives outlined in this strategy. These are:

Co-operation Acting as the focus for partnership working in North London. Utilising the skills and resources of our members from the public, private and voluntary sectors, we will work across borough and sector boundaries to develop effective responses to the opportunities and challenges facing North London.
Innovation Embracing new opportunities and developing innovative responses to the key issues facing the sub-region. To reflect the pace of change in North London it is essential that new and dynamic solutions are embraced across all sectors.
Social inclusion Reducing polarisation and creating new opportunities for local communities. The objectives and actions outlined in this strategy seek to benefit everybody in North London, particularly our poorest communities and neighbourhoods.
Sustainability Finding long term solutions that enhance the environment and improve quality of life as the sub-region grows.Our objectives and actions seek to make best use of existing resources and find ways of improving quality of life for everybody in North London.
