In response to public sector funding changes North London Business has rebalanced its business model to become equally funded by the private sector. As a result we have launched a number of network groups.
The Developers Network launched in May 2010. This membership club enables us to continue to provide development firms with inward investment, investor development and business growth services. The steering group, meeting in September, will oversee what can be done to make the area more attractive to property investors and financiers. Subscribers to this initiative include: Ardmore Construction, Tottenham Hotspur PLC, Cantor Developments, Segro Plc, Newlon Housing, Mayrose Properties, Atkar, Curtis Real Estate, L&Q, Bouygues and Dwyer Plc.
The Commercial Agents Network launched in April 2011. This membership club enables us to provide Commercial Agents, with an active interest in the North London area, with a client referral service. Previously funded by Government our Agent members now support us to continue to provide a ‘one stop shop’ service for investors seeking to move into the area. Subscribers to this service includes: Strettons, Glenny, SBH Page & Read, Derek Wade Waters, Bowyer Bryce, Gilmartin Ley, Michael Berman, Mastmead Ltd, Lyst and L&Q.
The Green Sector Network, launched in July 2011. This membership club has been established to promote businesses in the waste, recycling and green sectors in North London on a national and international stage around the 2012 Olympic Games. Members to this network includes: Hiremech, London Waste and Biffa.
Finally in partnership with the boroughs of Waltham Forest and Haringey we are in the process of launching Premier Business Clubs designed to provide a real engagement and partnership way of working being bigger businesses and their local authority.
